Our Service

Laylaty provides a guest management platform for organizing events and managing invitations.

Platform Features

• Digital invitations and RSVP management
• Guest list organization and communication
• Photo and memory sharing
• Gift registries and contributions
• Event websites and interactive features
• Additional features as we develop them

Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining account security, all activities under your account, and providing accurate information. You must be at least 16 years old to use our service.

Content Ownership and License

You retain ownership of content you upload. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, modify, distribute, and display your content to operate, provide, and improve our services, including developing new features and training AI models.

You are responsible for your content and represent that you have all necessary rights and consents, including from individuals in photos/videos. We moderate uploaded content. Event organizers can approve or reject submissions. We may remove content that violates these terms.

Our Intellectual Property: The Laylaty platform, including its design, code, features, and branding, is owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute our platform without permission.

Affiliate & Referral Links Disclosure

Our platform may contain affiliate links and referral links to third-party products or services (including, but not limited to, gift registry items and event-related products). If you make a purchase through these links, we may receive a commission at no additional cost to you. We only recommend products and services we believe will add value to our users. This disclosure is made in accordance with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's guidelines on endorsements and testimonials.

Payment Terms (Gift Registry)

Payment Processing: All payments are processed securely by third-party PCI-compliant payment processors. We do not store your complete payment card information. Currency: We accept major currencies (USD, EUR, GBP, and others) as supported by our payment processors Payment Fees: We do not charge additional fees for using the gift registry feature. Standard payment processing fees may apply.

Refund Policy: Contributions are generally non-refundable. Refunds may be issued for processing errors or fraud. Contact us within 14 days for refund requests.

Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use our platform for: illegal activities, spam, harassment, security violations, unauthorized access, or impersonation.

Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service but make no guarantees. We may perform maintenance, modify features, or suspend service at any time.

Limitation of Liability

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Laylaty and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service, your content, or your violation of these terms.

Account Termination

• By You: You may close your account at any time.
• By Us: We may suspend or terminate your account immediately for violations, illegal activity, security risks, legal requirements, or at our discretion.
• Effect: Upon termination, you lose access to your account. We may retain data as permitted by law or for legitimate business purposes.
• Survival: Sections regarding liability, indemnification, intellectual property, and dispute resolution survive termination.

Copyright Infringement (DMCA)

We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe content infringes your copyright, contact us at rootroo.com. We will remove allegedly infringing content and may terminate repeat infringers.

Beta and Experimental Features

We may offer beta or experimental features which are provided "as is" and may be discontinued at any time.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes. Changes become effective 30 days after notification Continued use constitutes acceptance

Severability

If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Assignment

No Partnership or Agency

No partnership, joint venture, employment, or agency relationship is created between you and us by these terms or use of the service.

No Third-Party Beneficiaries

If you accept these terms on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.

Interpretation

Section headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation. "Including" means "including but not limited to." The terms "we," "us," and "our" refer to Laylaty and its operators.
